Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All current tools run inside your browser on your device, and neither the file, its content nor its name is sent to our server. You can confirm this in the Network tab of the developer tools.
Are the tools free?
Yes, to get started. The free plan allows 10 operations a day, files up to 20 MB and up to 5 files per operation. The Pro plan raises these limits.
Do I need to create an account?
Not for free use. An account is only needed to subscribe to the Pro plan and keep a history of your operations.
What happens to my output files if I close the page?
The result stays in your browser only and we keep no copy. Download your file before closing or refreshing the page.
Is signing a PDF a certified digital signature?
No. The signing tool adds a visible signature (drawn, typed or an image) to the document; it is not a certified digital signature. If an authority requires a certified signature, use a licensed e-signature service.
Which devices do the tools work on?
On modern browsers on phones and computers, with no software to install. Very large files may need a device with enough memory.
